Pumps to transfer products in various industries

Another of our strong points, our vane pumps (BAL family) are used for transferring products in various industries.

From chemicals and petroleum derivatives to animal fats and vegetable oils, through to basic unprocessed and semi-finished products such as cereals and dairy products.

We are involved in land transport, primarily in tanker lorries, but also in maritime, rail and air transport.

Our customer Parcisa, which produces tankers to transport various products by road (perishable liquids, food products and chemicals, etc.) told us they needed to incorporate a pump in the tanks of their lorries dedicated to transporting Adblue (a high-purity urea solution in mineralised water used to reduce the content of nitrogen oxide (NOx) in the combustion gases of industrial vehicles).

After studying designing the curves and specifications in accordance with ISO 22241, as a solution we proposed our BAL 2RS series 500 vane pump coupled to a hydraulic orbit motor with mechanical lock and FKM seals.

2½” pump for a flow rate of 24 m³/h at 3 bar of pressure turning at 500 rpm. It is equipped with a built-in safety valve and is made from stainless steel.

Diesel

42000 litre tanker semi-trailer for a UK brand

Customer: Cisternas COBO | Visit Website

In this case study another of our important customers, Cisternas Cobo, dedicated to manufacturing tankers to transport goods (especially petroleum products) required a pump to incorporate into their 42,000 litre capacity tanker semi-trailer for transporting diesel for the market in the United Kingdom.

The model chosen was our BAL 2RS series 600 vane pump coupled to an MPR 100 CD hydraulic orbit motor with mechanical lock and FKM seals.

3” pump for a flow rate of 800 l/h at 3 bar of pressure turning at 640 rpm. It is equipped with a built-in safety valve and is made from stainless steel.
