RECYCLING INDUSTRY
Pumps for collecting and treating waste
Bombas TRIEF’s pumps have been used in the waste collection and treatment industry for a long time now.
Our pumps are used to remove used oils, sludge, hydrocarbon residues, dirty cutting fluids, bilge waters, etc. for recycling.
Among the applications it is used for, some that are worth highlighting include pumps mounted on tankers with hydraulic action, used to remove used oils, or mounted on barges and used to remove hydrocarbon residues (such as marine pollution and bilge waters) generated on the vessels.

A project consisting of installing pumping system onto specialised ships (barges) to recover the maritime pollution generated by large vessels and then unload it onto a tanker lorry to be treated in a recycling plant.
For this occasion our BAL 2R series 600 vane pump was chosen, as it is perfectly adapted to ship and lorry services, with self-adjusting steel vanes and hardening treatment to increase its resistance to wear and tear.
